How do I get in to a show?
To participate in a TACA show, you must first be juried. We do NOT charge a fee to jury. You will then complete a show application and return it with a check to cover the cost of your space.
Why does TACA charge me to sell at a show?
TACA charges you as there are many costs involved with organizing a show, including advertising and rental of the space we use.
Do I need a license to participate in a show?
TACA does not require vendors prove they are licensed to participate in a TACA show. Meeting city and state licensing requirements is the sole responsibility of each vendor.
Who collects the taxes?
The individual vendor/seller is responsible for collecting all taxes and costs of the purchased item(s).
Do I give TACA any of my show profits?
No, all show profits are yours to keep. TACA does not take any of your profits.
What do I need to participate in a show?
TACA provides the space which you purchased for you to exhibit and sell. Each vendor/seller is responsible for bringing all which they require. This includes table(s) and chair(s), all setup fixtures required such as hooks, display cases, shelves, grids. A cover/tablecloth for your table(s) which extends to the floor on all sides to provide a neat and tidy look, and so that your supplies and personal property are out of view, is also required. You may also want to bring a lunch and non alcoholic beverages for the day. Not all show locations have cafés or a place to purchase food.
Do I have to stay the entire day? What if I have other plans or sell out?
Yes, you are required to be at a show from set-up to the end of the show. We do not allow break down of your display(s) until the show has ended. If you have other plans, please do not schedule a show for that day.
Are the show fees refundable?
No, they are not.
Are pets allowed?
Unless your product requires the use of a pet for display purposes, please refrain from bringing him/her with you. Furthermore, please inquire prior to completing your application to make certain the show facility allows animals.
Are children allowed?
Yes, however, children must be under adult supervision at all times.
Are outside spaces ever available?
Occasionally TACA will host a show with outdoor spaces. The majority of TACA shows are indoor shows with air-conditioning.
How do I get the space I want?
Please try to be specific with any special requests you may have, and complete and return your application and check as early as possible. All applications are processed on a first come first served basis.
What does being "juried" mean?
Being juried means that several members of the jury committee examine your pieces and rate them based on originality, technique, workmanship, and finished product. Each category is scored and your final scores determines your membership eligibility. Each prospective member receives a letter within 1-2 weeks of having been juried. Scores are not discussed with the prospective member, the jurors or anyone else.

There is no fee to be juried.
